Girl Scouts from Grace Lutheran Church in River Forest, Troop No. 41490, spruced up the train underpass at Kenilworth Avenue in Oak Park this week with their original art project.

Troop members Kyle Smith, Sydney Tzeng, Lucy Best, and Helen and Grace Files created a colorful mural with the theme “solutions to pollution,” reminding people to engage in environmental friendly practices. The actions demonstrated were things like biking and walking more, using wind and solar power and reducing the use of plastic bags.
