Crews were at work Wednesday afternoon replacing sections of the sidewalk in front of Maya Del Sol on the 100 south block of Oak Park Avenue.

In less than half an hour they had already removed all the old sidewalk and start building forms to pour new concrete.

@ Gizmodog. @Modoggiz. Maya Del Sol has al fresco dining on their OWN outdoor patio out back (very nice).

Probably not, no bluestone.

Will the Village then approve a sidewalk cafe providing a nice sitting area for the patrons, but blocking the public right-of-way? (See the cheeseshop.)

Is this the same village that made me wait for three months for a permit to build my garage?

Awesome. Can I get the Village to replace my street which has basically disintegrated into gravel and is potholer ridden?

Funny thing is...nothing was wrong with the old sidewalk based on the pictures.

They did the same on my block. Out with the old and in with the new in hours. Murtagh is a professional complainer.
