Nancy Leavy, a former member of the District 200 (OPRF) Board of Education will be honored by the League of Women Voters of Oak Park and River Forest on Wednesday May 16. A member of the League since 1985, Leavy will receive the Hazel Hanson award, the presentation taking place during the League’s annual meeting at the Oak Park Library, 834 Lake Street. Leavy served on the D200 board for 8 years.
