Vacancy on River Forest Park District Board

The River Forest Park District Board of Commissioners are seeking applications from interested River Forest residents to fill a vacant Park Board seat.
The 6-year term seat will be filled by Board appointment for the first 2-years, followed by election in the 2015 Consolidated Election to serve the remaining 4 years.
Interested resident are required to complete the attached questionnaire and return to Michael Sletten no later than May 10. At the board's May 13 meeting, the group will review the applications and select a short list of candidates for interview. The park board hopes to swear in the new board member at the June 10 park board meeting.

Ed Voci, step up and volunteer. I can't think of anybody more appropriate than Ed Voci who was one of the moving forces to get the boci courts built and bring boci to the attention of so many residents. Do it Ed. We need you on the Park District Board.
