Lincoln Elementary School’s Fifth Grade Girl Scout Troop is collecting needed items for P.A.D.S. through April 6. Please consider donating any of the following items (our goal is 50 of each) – the collection box is next to the Lincoln School office (1111 S. Grove):
razors
toothbrushes
deodorant
adult socks
adult XL and XXL underwear

The fifth grade Girl Scout troop has been learning about homelessness issues throughout the year. In the fall, the girls participated in a badge program about homelessness. The girls were inspired by the program to solicit cookie donations for P.A.D.S during the cookie selling season. The shelter manager for P.A.D.S. came to one of our meetings to teach the girls about the organization and to let them know in what ways they can participate. And now we are going to serve at a P.A.D.S. shelter on April 6. The girls will set up the shelter, serve dinner and serve the girl scout cookies they are bringing. They hope to be able to bring a collection of toiletries and basic clothing to add to their donation. Their goal is 50 of each of the items on the list. Can you help?
