David William Gilley, PhD, 61, of Oak Park, died on Sept. 8, 2019. Born on Sept. 23, 1957, he was a respected psychologist and researcher. 

David Gilley was the father of Shawn (Arielle) Gilley; the son of Anne and the late William Gilley; the former spouse of Sheri Gilley and Deborah Fleischman; the brother of Lynne Larabee; the uncle of Christopher, Daniel, Hunter and Justin Larabee; and a special friend to many. 

A memorial service was held on Sept. 11 at Oak Park Temple B'nai Abraham Zion. 

The family suggests that contributions may be made to the Carcinoid Cancer Foundation, www.carcinoid.org, or to the Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org.
