Kenneth Alan Kellogg of Clearwater, Florida, a former Oak Park resident, died on June 20, 2019. Born in Chicago to Ruth Meredith and John Webb Kellogg on Sept. 6, 1931, he was raised in Oak Park, went to Mann School, graduated from Oak Park and River Forest High School in 1949, and, after studying at the University of Illinois at Navy Pier, he graduated from Northwestern University in 1953 with a bachelor's in Business. He served in the U.S. Army, then accepted his father's offer to work in his company, Sealtex Bandage.

He was married in August 1956 to Beth Armin. After he was divorced, he moved himself and his business to Clearwater where his retired parents were living. He married Nellie Lancaster Martinez in 1972 and lived most of the rest of his life in Clearwater, save for a stint of two years in Charlotte, North Carolina near his younger son, Roger, and wife, Michele, now deceased, and their boys.

He suffered from dementia as he got older and, as of January 2019, was in a memory care facility. His wife, Nellie, who has been very involved in teaching dance to seniors and putting on shows in the Clearwater area, tended to him and to her aged mother, Amparo.

Kenneth Kellogg is survived by his wife, Nellie Kellogg; his sister, Diane Meredith Kellogg Pellettiere (Daniel); his sons, Phillip Kellogg (Jami) and Roger Kellogg; his stepson, Mario Martinez (Claudia); and his many nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
