Oak Park Youth Baseball & Softball and the Oak Park Falcons softball travel teams were pleased to host their 3rd Annual Falcon Fest from July 5th-7th. The event featured six teams in the 10U Division and four at 12U. In addition to a host Falcons team at each level, participants came from as nearby as River Forest, to as far as Arlington Heights, Wood Dale/Bensenville and Bolingbrook.
The Oak Park 12U Falcons won four of five games, including both in the championship round to claim the first-place trophy, defeating a great Norridge Reckless team. The 12U team was led by a no-hitter in Game 1 from the combined pitching of Eliza Endless and Annie Wollmuth.
