A Chicago resident was attacked by a woman on the Blue Line CTA platform in the 900 block of South East Avenue at 1:47 a.m. on June 17.

The woman approached the victim on the CTA platform and asked for money. The victim did not give her any money, so the woman used an unidentified cutting instrument to "stab and cut at the victim", according to police.

The attacker was described as a 5-foot-tall black woman with a shaved head. She wore a green baseball hat and dark clothes.
