Sip from a cup

If you were me, not then but now,

Would you recycle, stop eating cow,

Turn off the light when you leave a room

Take bags to the store, buy local food?

Sip from a cup so a turtle don't croak,

Be slightly vegan-minded folk,

Clean pizza from boxes, break them down,

Conscious garbage recycles a frown.

Rich Dad is broken, less is more,

Money is not what makes us poor,

Greed is a hole, a taker's dump,

There is no great in being Trump.

Ride a bike to work, walk from here to there,

We're in this together so make like you care,

We're way beyond just hugging a tree,

Our garbage is literally killing the sea.

Sip from a cup so a turtle don't croak,

Be slightly vegan-minded folk,

Clean pizza from boxes, break them down,

Conscious garbage recycles a frown.

We still have a chance if we pull together,

Don't believe me — just look at the weather,

Storms, rising seas, drought and flood,

Now is the time to be cray-cray good.
