Barbara Ryan Lordan, 70, of Oak Park, died on April 28, 2020, due to respiration complications from a stroke in 2005. Born on April 1, 1950, she was married to Gerald Lordan. They have been residents of Oak Park since 1982. 

She graduated from St. Patrick High School in Watertown, Massachusetts in 1968, received her BA from Northeastern University in Boston, and her MBA from Dominican University in River Forest. She was a technical sales representative for Eastman Kodak and was active with professional associations in Chicago for both Typography and Lithography. She was also active with the Center for Progress in Independent Living in Forest Park and used her French language skill as a volunteer with Crossroads Africa in the Ivory Coast. Her hobbies were gardening, furniture restoration, and antique collection.

Barbara was the mother of Brendan Lordan and Erin Lordan; the sister of Michael (Marianne) Ryan and William (Leonie) Ryan and the late Mary Ryan (Edmund) Radz; the daughter of the late Francis Ryan and the late Agnes (O'Toole) Ryan.
