Mercedes E. Kozacki (nee Pasowicz), 100, of Oak Park, died on Dec. 7, 2018. Born on Sept. 6, 1918, she is survived by her children, Mercedes (Charles) Eitz, Marcelline (the late James) Solecki, and Theresa (William) Ringhofer; her grandchildren, Karen (Richard) Dziagwa, Sharon (John) Szybkowski, Steven (Andrea) Solecki, Walter (Julie) Fisher, Susan Eitz, Sandra (Coby) Crawford, and Nicole (Kingsley) Austin; and her great-grandchildren, Chas, Alexander, Christopher, Christian, Lilliana, Savannah, Kylie, Ethan, Ian, Kierstin and Jake. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; her brother, Daniel (the late Lena) Pasowicz; and her sister, Adele (the late George) Moritz. 

A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 1 at 9:45 a.m. at Ascension Church, 808 S. East Ave., Oak Park, followed by private interment at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
