A Charter One Bank branch on the 6700 block of West North Ave. was robbed at gunpoint on Friday at approximately 10:30 a.m., according to a Chicago Police spokesperson.
No one was injured in the robbery, and the suspect — an approximately 6-foot black male in his 30s weighing approximately 180 pounds — fled on foot, Chicago Police Officer Janel Sedevic said.
Wearing a blue baseball cap and a dark-colored, button-down shirt and blue jeans, the robbery fled the scene with an unknown amount of money, Sedevic said. No one has been put into custody.
