After a number of years as a steady subscriber to Wednesday Journal, in 2004 I did not renew my subscription.
The number one reason for my cancellation was what I felt to be the oblique reporting by the Journal of Brooks Middle School principal, Flora Green. Other than one editorial, submitted by the Brooks staff, I do not recall ever reading anything but negative and inflammatory remarks regarding Green. Is this unbiased reporting? Indeed, to see how the Journal continues with its own agenda in reference to Green, readers need only to read the last paragraph of the March 9 editorial, “Time for a Change at Brooks.”
