Oak Park and River Forest High School is looking for a new assistant principal for student services. Jeremiah Wiencek, who was hired in 2006 for the position, will resign at the end of the school year. Wiencek is leaving OPRF to become counseling department chair at Glendbard West High School in Glen Ellyn.
Wiencek, a married father of two, said he wants to work closer to where he and his family live. OPRF assistant principal for student services oversees the school’s discipline department and counselors.
