PADS 7th annual fundraiser raises record amount

A sold-out crowd of near 450 attended West Suburban PADS' Seventh annual fundraiser, "Have a Heart Dinner," at Villa Brunetti in Franklin Park on Saturday Feb. 5.

Emmy award winning journalist John Calloway hosted. The WTTW broadcaster has been a longtime PADS supporter. Major corporate underwriters included First Bank of Oak Park, Sachem Company of Oak Park, and Nicor Gas. More than 150 items were donated by local businesses and volunteers for a silent auction. This was PADS largest fundraiser to date, raising a record $37,500 to support PADS shelter, services and housing programs.
