The Oak Park Swimmers (TOPS) swam well at the Town and Country District swim meet recently. Top swimmers included: Jocelyn Weisman (8)?#34;25 backstroke; Teresa Hirmer (10)?#34;50 freestyle, 50 breaststroke; 9-10 Girls 200 Freestyle Relay (Teresa Hirmer, Kjersti Anderson, Alanna Dassoff, Maggie Lomasney); Kyle Patnode (10)?#34;100 freestyle, 50 backstroke; Nathan Pimentel (10)?#34;50 breaststroke; Christopher Brandt (10)?#34;50 butterfly; Nikita Bondarenko (10)?#34;100 IM; 9-10 Boys 200 medley relay and 200 free relay (Kyle Patnode, Pimentel, Bondarenko, Brandt).
TOPS finished in third place in the meet for boys and fourth place for girls.
Twenty-nine members of the team qualified to compete in the Illinois/Missouri Area YMCA Swimming Championship at Carthage College in Kenosha, Wis.
