Remember their families and all the civilians lost in violence around the world.

From the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office, the Chicago Police Dept., and the Chicago Breaking News Center, by way of Chicago Tribune's RedEye, Thursday edition:

In the city of Chicago, the following people were killed by violence, Feb. 7-14

Lucy Wrobel, 51; Ronald Hayes, 17; John Serpe, 42; Venzel Richardson, 14; Andre Hughes, 30; Adonta McCoy, 20 months; Raymod Robinson, 69

Keep their families and all those touched by violence in your thoughts and prayers.

The following list from the detention center is sent by the Interfaith Committee for Detained Immigrants:

Remember the 22 immigrant detainees at the McHenry County Jail as of Feb. 11, which includes seven women. The detainees are from Brazil, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Germany, Guatemala, Jordan, Mexico, and Rwanda. Eighteen-year-old Rocael Sebastian of Guatemala, for instance, has a court date of Feb. 19. May the outcomes be positive for all of the detainees and their families.

Submitted each week by Mary Marling, Elizabeth Scanlon, and Kathleen Clark of the Unity Temple Unitarian/Universalist congregation where the names are read aloud at Sunday services.
