AYSO spring soccer

Registration for the 2005 AYSO spring soccer season will take place on Saturday, March 9, from 9:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Longfellow Center. The center is located at Ridgeland and Jackson in Oak Park.

The spring soccer program is open for boys and girls in 5th through 12th grades (U12 to U19). The season runs from April to June and includes weekly practices and eight games. The high school teams are traveling teams that play AYSO teams from Chicago and the near western suburbs. The 5th - 6th graders and 7th - 8th graders will play in a coed program for each level and the teams will participate in a local soccer league. The fee for all players is $75. All teams will have the opportunity to work with Major League Soccer trainers and will follow the basic philosophy of AYSO: Open registration, balanced teams, everyone plays, positive coaching and good sportsmanship.
