I wish to thank Jason of Oak Park Animal Control for his skillful help in getting my dog Skipper back Friday, Dec. 2. Since the prohibition by the Park District of Oak Park of the use of Lindberg Park as a dog run, my dogs have been little engines of unexpended energy. When I opened the front door to speak to a visitor, Skipper bolted. An anonymous good neighbor (thank you!) called animal control, and Jason was on the spot within a couple of minutes. I have heard many good things about Jason from other dog owners, but this was first-hand experience of his abilities. Oak Park should be proud of having such a dedicated, skilled, and compassionate person in their service. Thanks, Jason!

I also want to thank Lester Betsinger of NICOR who took time off from his meter reading duties to help corral Skipper. Lester actually came back to our house later to make sure Skipper was OK.
