A big thank you to all who donated toys at Cheney Mansion's "Breakfast, Lunch and Tea with Santa." We wanted to let our guests know that the 132 toys collected this year were gratefully received by Sarah's Inn, Christmas Cheer, and the Community of Congregations.

Each year we are so moved by the big-hearted generosity of our visitors, and by the quality and number of toys donated. Thanks to all!

Thanks for participating in the fall blood drive
The District 97 Department of Special Services and Hatch School would like to thank the community and all those who supported the Fall Blood Drive. It was a great success. Twenty-three potential donors registered to donate and fifteen pints of blood were collected. Forty-five individuals will benefit from those 15 pints of blood.

Thanks to all for your time and generosity. We would like to extend a special thanks to all those who helped behind the scenes with publicity, setup and encouragement. The next District 97 Blood Drive will be held in the spring of 2005 at Lincoln School. Hope to see you there!
Steve Castle, Director, Department of Special Services
