A breezy end to June’s final day brought more than 400 visitors to the 20th annual Garden Walk in Oak Park and River Forest Sunday.
Fragrant, contemplative and colorful, artfully designed and, in some cases, edible, the eight showcase gardens on the walk also provided glimpses into the personalities of their caretakers.
The event was sponsored by the Friends of the Oak Park Conservatory and the Garden Club of Oak Park-River Forest.
