Linda Cibula, longtime Oak Park resident and owner of Stencib Studio at 7015 W. North Ave. in Oak Park, is awaiting a patent on her product that she hopes will make stenciling easier for both artists and non-artists alike. Her product, which comes on adhesive rolls, grew out of her frustration with the difficulties of traditional stenciling while rehabbing an old home in Florida. Cibula sells clothes, furniture and other items with her stencil designs in her studio, which she has also opened up for parties.
