Pearl T. Harding (nee Tillotson), 96, died on Sept. 23, 2011. Born on Sept. 25, 1914 in Chicago, she was the only child of Cassius C. and Grace M. Tillotson. A longtime resident of Oak Park, she worked most of her life in the women’s fashion industry as an accessories buyer for various department stores, including Wallace Gilmour Inc., in Oak Park.
Ms. Harding is survived by her dear friends, Bruce and Laurie Knowlton; and the many families of the Parkview Presbyterian Church. A memorial service will be held in her honor on Sunday, Oct. 23 at 1 p.m. at Parkview Presbyterian Church, 641 S. Oak Park Ave. in Oak Park.
