Elizabeth M. Becker (nee Witte), 71, died on Oct. 11, 2011. She was an Oak Park resident. Born on October 8, 1940, Elizabeth worked at Concordia University for over 36 years, most recently serving as Associate Director of CenSRCH.
Mrs. Becker is survived by her children, Mary Hamrick and Pete Becker; her grandchildren, Jonathan, Stephen, Rebekah, Rachel and Brittany; her great-grandchild, Aaden; and her brothers, Jon (Donna) and Robert (Deborah) White. She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter. Services were held on Oct. 15 at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Forest Park, followed by interment at Lincoln Memorial Park.
