Thank you so much for reprinting your marijuana column in Wednesday Journal [The problem is escapism, Ken Trainor, Viewpoints, Jan. 1]. I am a practicing family physician and I occasionally have an opportunity to talk to young people about drug use. Yours is the most succinct opinion I can remember reading. It is logical and non-judgmental. I intend to keep a copy for myself and make copies to distribute to young people who I have the opportunity to counsel.
