Janet Haisman people are very slow to learn. I was at a location, watched the driver get out of the vehicle with a child. The driver left the 6 to 8 year old other child in the front passenger seat. The car was left running with the doors locked. I waited for a little over 10 minutes and did not call the Police since I thought the woman and child would be out before the Police could arrive. That did not happen and I should have called for at least the Police Officer to explain the stories you hear about a vehicle stolen with a child inside. So keep pushing out the information although there are people who just are rather low on their own vulnerability and worse, is the vulnerability towards a child

It's clear that we all make mistakes, and we are all in a time of deep confusion. But could we please try hard to remember to lock our cars, homes, and windows and to NEVER leave the car running - for ANY reason? The police really do need to be spared these incidents. Please - let's all try harder!
