The Wednesday Journal is a weekly community newspaper distributed to residents of Oak Park and River Forest.
The online Wednesday Journal reports on matters large and small each day, offering new reporting on matters large and small that makes these villages so interesting.

Reader comments on news stories, restaurants, sports, and all manner of local life are front and center in every story. Nearly 20 bloggers cover topics from dining to shopping, from books to religion, from local history to local sports.

There is a directory of more than 1,700 local resources. These are businesses, social service agencies, clubs, government entities, churches, restaurants, schools, and more.

The Wednesday Journal publishes four weekly newspapers plus the Chicago Parent and Going Places magazines. It is a family-owned company with offices in Oak Park.
