Since 1912, the River Forest Park District has offered a variety of recreational and educational programs for people of all ages. The Park District maintains 10 parks covering 30 acres, and The Depot at 401 Thatcher Avenue. In addition, the Park District partners with several local organizations to provide recreational and educational opportunities for our community.
The Park District publishes three seasonal Fun Guides a year which are delivered to the residents of River Forest in the months of April, August, and December.
