I stopped going there a long time ago because it was just too dirty. I did write Laura, the owner, suggesting a spring cleaning and ridding the place of dust mite laden overstuffed furniture and filthy drapes. The cafe is an allergy and asthma sufferer's nightmare. There was a good Sun. breakfast waffle ages ago. Last time I ate there, the tuna fish sandwich was dripping wet and soggy with mayo. (I've since learned avoid ordering tuna fish sandwich when dining out, except at Panera). Food items were also overpriced at the Buzz. I'm happy the family has been able to make a go of it. Just not my cup of tea, or joe.

Also Sorry, but I just wasn't a fan of the food at this place. After waiting 15 mins for a chicken panini I was expecting something descent. Instead I got a sandwich that was really sloppily put together and just OK tasting. It was disappointing. I did like the ambiance of the place though...

If they do then that's a real buzzkill. But if they don't then I may trot up there with my box of eight big ones from 'Binney & Smith' and enjoy a stuffed pork chop or two.

I ordered the chicken southwest wrap and it was delicious and fresh. The Mexican Mocha was very good too. I have also had breakfast there with friends and we all enjoyed it. I invited a friend visiting from Italy and she really enjoyed the bohemian atmosphere and live music. I also love how Cafe Buzz is a big part of the community and they like to encourage all forms of artwork. Don't overlook this wonderful cafe in Oak Park.

Sorry but this place is awful. It's clogged with junk on the walls and way too small inside to sit comfortably. The coffee is ok, but I can make better. Food isn't great unless you're starving. There are way better places to visit for a nice cup of cofee, room to breath, and good food to eat then the Buzz.
