The Pokémon Go continues to sweep the nation, and one local house of worship is jumping on the bandwagon.

First United Church of Oak Park, 848 Lake St., has declared itself an official Poke Stop. We at Wednesday Journal are still trying to figure out exactly what that means, but we're assuming it's an invitation to come hunt for the virtual Pokémon characters at the church.

The announcement was made via Facebook earlier this month.

"Hey Oak Parkers! First United Church is a Poke Stop on the new Pokémon Go mobile game! Here's a little bit about who we are and we hope you'll stop by to let us know a little bit about who you are too," the post states with a link to the church's website (www.firstunitedoakpark.com/values/).
