I'm Carlin and I like to play.  Morning, noon, night and every hour in between, I'm ready to race, chase, jump, stalk, swat, bat, tumble, and roll.  As a matter of fact, I have a life motto:  Play like a puppy!   I've watched a few puppies here at the Animal Care League and admire the way they happily play hard with each other and their toys until they're tired and plop down for a nap.  This is just like me!  I think I deserve the honorary title of Carlin The Puppy Cat.

I'm a handsome orange and white tabby.  I take time to groom and appreciate how fit I am as a result of my athletic play.  I love people.  They throw balls for me to chase, challenge my jumping skills with feather toys, pet and talk to me.  I like to purr, head bump, and stretch out for a full body massage to let people know how much I appreciate their attention.  I also like other cats.   I see every cat as a possible playmate and invite each one I meet to race and tumble.  Unfortunately, not all cats like to play as hard as I do and some clearly tell me to go away.  But when I do find a like-minded playmate we gleefully play like puppies.

I am a friendly, good looking, happy cat who longs for just one thing.  That one thing is a permanent home with people who will love me, play with me, pet me, and let me show them every day how athletically gifted I am and how much I love them back.  Every time the door opens here at the Animal Care League I hope that my person is coming to adopt me. I know my person is out there, thinking about adopting a cat.  I want you to know that Carlin The Puppy Cat is waiting for you.
