Venus in transit over Oak Park

Austin Kurtz took some stunning photos of Venus over Oak Park. He used two lenses which combined for a 900mm length and caught both Venus and an O'Hare bound plane crossing the setting sun.

Excellent shot! We saw a few planes go across our projected image - it added another level of excitement to the festivities!
