On Sunday, June 26th the Ultimate Furry Dog Show contest sponsored by the Unity Temple Auction Committee was held in the back yard of 223 S. Grove Ave. in Oak Park. There were five winners. Pictured left to right are Will Bankes with his dog Velma which won Miss Personality; Christine Styer with Beau who won Most Mysterious Breed; Mary Gardner with Macaroni for Best Costume; Mila Tellez with her dog Tunnica which won owner and dog look-a- like; and Brooke McMillan with Noah which won Peoples Choice. All proceeds went to the restoration fund for Unity Temple.
