We had a great time, with over 250 in attendance! Our USO inspired dance and show was titled "Star Spangled Salute." The The big band sounds of the Dick Elliot Orchestra enlivened the crowd with the music of Glen Miller, Tommy Doresy.

Royal Couple, King John Harrast and Queen Sharon Sugrue were crowned in front of their admiring electorate. In addition, Sintayehu Flemming was awarded the Oak Park Arms Scholarship and will be attending Denison University in the Fall.

The spirit of the Red White and Blue resounded throughout the ballroom and the dancing was exhilarating. The Legacy Girls performed an Andrew Sisters Act which included "Don't Sit under the Apple Tree," and "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy." They brought newly elected King John up for a personalized version of "Oh Jonny, Oh."

Tributes to the armed services rounded out the evening. A star spangled swinging great time was had by all.
