Summer Reading Kick Off Party for All Ages at the River Forest Library

School is just about out, the weather is warm, and pool season has begun. Time to get ready for some summer reading!

The River Forest Library's Summer Reading Program begins June 5th with a Kick Off Party from 2:30-6 PM. Patrons can register for the program and enjoy a bounce house, an obstacle course, popcorn and more (everything is free)! Patrons are also able to sign up after June 5th in person at the River Forest Public Library.

The program is open to patrons of all ages - including adults - and there will be fabulous prizes for all participants.

Every Hero Has a Story! Children's Summer Reading Program, 6/1-7/31

Babies through children entering 5th grade who sign up and read (or are read to) will earn new books to take home and other great prizes. Enjoy daily programing for kids of all ages and weekly story times for babies and toddlers. The fun officially begins at our Summer Reading Kick Off Party on June 5. Skip the line! Between June 1-4, pre-register for the summer reading program and receive tickets for the Kick Off Party.

Unmasked! Teen's Summer Reading Program, 6/3-7/31

Teens entering 6th grade through high school seniors are invited to participate in summer reading. You can earn new books, tasty treats, and other great prizes.  Fun, creative programs will be held weekly. The fun officially begins at our Summer Reading Kick Off Party on June 5. Skip the line! Current 5th-8th graders are invited to sign up at our Connections Early Registration on June 3rd.

Adult Summer Reading Program, 6/3-7/31

Read a book, or listen to an audiobook, and receive a drawing entry to win great prizes donated by local businesses. There is no limit to the number of entries you can submit. River Forest residents age 18 and older are invited to participate.
