Jean Lotus can do it all. She’s a professional reporter, author, parent coordinator of Ascension School’s newspaper and Executive Director for Oak Park Kidz Newz Journalism Camp.
Did I mention she’s a mother of five?
Creativity is her strong suit so she’s offering your child the opportunity this summer to meet Dan Haley AND be a part of a real newspaper! For kids grades 5 – 8, Lotus’s unique summer camp provides kids with hands-on experience creating a newspaper by-and-for Oak Park, River Forest and Forest Park kids. Kidz Newz will be published and distributed free at local libraries and kid-friendly locations so get in on the fun!
