Buddy's HELPERS Challenge Day: On May 9, all 216 schools and 25,000+ student-athletes involved in the PepsiCo Showdown will take part in the largest ONE Day, ONE Site Community Service event featuring high school students in U.S. history.

Projected by many oddsmakers and fans alike to win the World Series this year, the Chicago Cubs are the hottest ticket in town.

Nonetheless, Fenwick senior Caitlin Josephs will be at Wrigley Field on Opening Day (April 11) as the Cubs begin their quest for the organization’s first World Series title since consecutive championships in 1907 and 1908.

Josephs was given free tickets in recognition of her efforts the past few years helping children through local special education programs. She was recently surprised at Fenwick in front of her parents, classmates and teachers with a pair of tickets as part of the “Making A Difference On AND Off the Field” campaign.

Created by Buddy’s HELPERS and the PepsiCo Showdown, the Chicago-wide recognition campaign was created to honor student-athletes, teachers and coaches who are making a difference in their community.

Congratulations, Caitlin, and hopefully you’ll cheer the Cubs on to victory against the Cincinnati Reds.
