Animal Care League Baby Shower Brings Out the Party Animal in All of Us

On Sunday, February 23rd from 12 – 3pm, Animal Care League will host its 9th Annual Baby Shower. Visitors are welcome to come to 1011 Garfield, Oak Park to celebrate and support all things animal.
Guests gather to bring supplies posted on ACL's "Wish List" (e.g. paper towels, dog and cat toys, cleaning supplies) and enjoy an afternoon of live music, refreshments, demonstrations on kitty/puppy massage, information on puppy and bunny care, and more.
ACL's Baby Shower is the only supply-driven fundraiser the shelter hosts. The primary focus of the event is to stock up on the many necessary suppplies needed for an entire year of animal care, whether it's for the animals cared for in-house or those in foster homes. The shelter also welcomes cash donations to purchase additional supplies when inventory runs low.
A family-friendly event that combines genuine need and genuine fun, the shower includes entertainment and information for a wide range of interests. Local community partners sharing their expertise for the event include Canine Massage Chicago and True Note Music.
We hope you all can make this event and celebrate our shared love and support of animals and enjoy a day that will make you smile.
For those of you who cannot attend, donations may be made through our website: www.animalcareleague.org, and a complete list of donations requested, visit: http://www.animalcareleague.org/wish-list.html
