The River Forest Library is excited to announce that thousands of movies, television shows, music albums and audiobooks, are available for mobile and online access through a new service, hoopla digital.

River Forest card holders can now download the free hoopla digital mobile app on their Android or IOS device or visit hoopladigital.com to begin enjoying thousands of titles – from major Hollywood studios, record companies and publishers – available to borrow 24/7, for instant streaming or temporary downloading to their smartphones, tablets, computers and Apple TV.

“The RFPL strives to provide access to content in as many formats as possible for our patrons,” said Margaret Banerji, Manager of Virtual Services. “We are confident hoopla digital will supplement our already strong audiovisual collections and allow patrons to access thousands of music titles, movies, TV shows, and audiobooks without having to wait or worry about fines.  If patrons can’t get to the RFPL, the Library can come to them with hoopla and our dozens of other valuable digital resources.”

“With hoopla digital, it is our mission to empower the evolution of public libraries while helping them to meet the needs of the mobile generation. We’ve worked for years to create a best-in-breed service that is fun, fast and reliable.  And we continue to secure content deals to expand our offering of popular and niche movies, TV shows, music and audiobooks,” said Jeff Jankowski founder and owner of hoopla digital.
