Christmas wish list - dear santa

When asked what he wanted for Christmas this year, Hephzibah’s newest resident 6-year-old Nate replied, “I don’t believe in Santa Claus. Last year, I asked for love and I didn’t get it.”

This year, the holidays will be different for Nate and all the children in Hephzibah’s care, because love is abundant, and our generous supporters help ensure that it is a holiday season filled with excitement and joy.

It takes months of work and an entire community of elves to bring holiday cheer to the hundreds of children and families in Hephzibah’s care. And, while the pandemic has forced the cancellation of the many traditional celebrations and events, the holidays will still be joyous and fun-filled this year.

Thanks to generous foundation, corporate and individual donors, and imaginative Hephzibah staff, this year children living at Hephzibah Home will enjoy festive light displays in the neighborhood, special holiday meals, and open gifts purchased specially for them from a personal wish list.

The hundreds of children and families in Hephzibah’s foster care program and receiving services through our Intact Family program, will receive gifts, gift cards and holiday meals all provided by donors to Hephzibah and from several corporate partners and their supporters.

“There is still much to celebrate this season,” says Juliet Yera, director of development. “Though 2020 has been an especially challenging, difficult year for our children and families, we are so fortunate to have a generous community embracing the spirit of the season.” Visit the Hephzibah Wish List at https://www.hephzibahhome.org/donate/holiday-wish-list/ to help make a child’s holiday dream come true.
