The Journal's new and improved meeting room remodel is complete thanks to the hard work of Graham Johnston, a number of staff members and Divine Consign owner and interior designer Kellie Scott and her team.

Close to 50 people came to the "big room" reveal Wednesday, Nov. 19 to enjoy light refreshments, mingle with friends and colleagues and celebrate the major transformation.

Wednesday Journal publisher Dan Haley made a speech during the party to thank those who helped during the process and those who attended the unveiling. In his thank yous, he mentioned a very unique part of the room: a panel of newspaper covers from each of the company's four weekly papers. The panel is meant to be decorative, but it is also a very thoughtful personal touch that, in my opinion, is a reminder of how much the company cares for the communities it serves.
