Local students were among the 113 students selected as a 2015 summer research scholar at Denison University. The students spent their summer at Denison conducting in-depth research projects with faculty. The programs include undertakings in the sciences, humanities, social sciences and the arts.

Celeste Erickson, a graduate of Oak Park and River Forest High School, collaborated with Professor Robert Weis on a project titled: ‘Gifted but Disabled? Neuropsychological Functioning of Private College Students with Learning Disabilities.’
