What counts in an election is who counts

Thus spake an American politician of enormous success.

Didn't matter who votes and how to this world leader . . .

. . . a fellow who never lost an election.

If pigs could vote, then what?

No, not cigarettes, the alderman admitted today that she was buying votes for gift cards ranging up to $100 per. Er, "raffling" them off in return for voting.... I wonder if Lisa Madigan has started an investigation?

Sounds like an urban myth. Charles, is that the going rate just for voting? No way to guarantee that a paid voter will cast the ballot for the individual who might benefit from this dumb tactic.
