One of the signs from Vanishing Acts at the Morton Arboretum.

If you’re looking for a winter outing add the brief but excellent Vanishing Acts exhibit to your itinerary. Over the holiday weeks we visited Morton Arboretum, where we stumbled upon this display located along the Conifer Walk.  I’m both a nature lover and a museum geek, and I found this concise and genuinely informative (and here I thought I knew it all!)   Note to teachers and parents: Vanishing Acts would make a fine winter field trip too. It’s located very near to the Visitor Center and Children’s Garden too.
