BRAVO! invades Atlanta again

BRAVO! the performing arts program at Brooks Middle School returned to Atlanta last weekend for the annual National Junior Theater Festival. 

Founded in 2003, the Junior Theater Festival is the world's largest musical theater festival of its kind. Students and instructors from across the U.S. participate in workshops and lectures, then perform highlights from their school productions. This is the seventh consecutive year BRAVO! has been invited to the festival.

They are one of four educational musical theater groups chosen by iTheatrics, an educational musical theater organization from New York, and Disney Musicals to perform never-before-seen selections including the world premiere of James and the Giant Peach Jr. as well as Disney's The Lion King Jr. for more than 5,000 attendees in the festival's New Works Showcase. 

BRAVO! performed five scenes/numbers from James and the Giant Peach Jr. in addition to a 15-minute excerpt from Shrek Jr. for adjudication on Saturday morning. From the adjudication performance, students

And that photo is most definitely the 1st floor ballroom of the Oak Park Arms. My kids have performed many piano recitals on the very same stage. No one brought a camera to Atlanta?

I believe the first word in this story should be BRAVO, not RAVO.
