It's that time of year again – for the farmers market.

What, you say? A farmers market in the winter? Yes, you read that correctly. Sugar Beet Food Co-op is again holding its winter farmers market, but you don't have to fret about the big snow storm forecast for this weekend; the farmers market is held indoors at Sugar Beet's community room at 442 S. Grove Ave.

The market runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will feature producers, growers and makers.

Can't make it to this one? The winter market will also be held – same time and same place – on Feb. 16, March 16 and April 20.

Sugar Beet has made available all the expected vendors for the markets for the remainder of the year.

They include:

January 19: Bread of Heaven, Joe's Blues, Breadman Baking Co., Karl's Soup, Sitka Salmon, Senteamental Moods Tea, Chanticlare Farm, Katic Bread, John Bailey Honey, Ruth & Phil's Ice Cream, Tea Time Pastries, Knockout Pickles by Opportunity Knocks, Prairie Wind Family Farm

Is the Sugar Beet selling farmers or are farmers selling at Sugar Beet, This would be a Farmers' Market since Farmers are selling their products. Punctuation is a lost art.
