Deadline for '60 Over 60' approaching

The Celebrating Seniors Coalition has announced Feb. 14 as the deadline for submitting nominations for this year's "60 Over 60" honorees. 

"We are on the lookout for people whose love for others, and for the community, has made a real difference over the years," said founder and chairman of the Celebrating Seniors Coalition, Jim Flanagan. 

All the honorees will be invited to Rib'bon Fest at the start of Celebrating Seniors Week, which begins Thursday, May 15. A photo and some brief biographical information of the honorees will be included in a Celebrating Seniors Resource Guide as well.

Past honorees include the Wednesday Journal's Ken Trainor and WJ's theater critic Doug Deuchler.
