If you like stand-up and improv, go over to Open Door Repertory Company at 902 S. Ridgeland in the Oak Park Arts' District.  You'll find FrankenReagan, Ghost Toddler, and Declassified performing on Friday, August 3 from 8 - 10pm.  These are some of the best in the field from the Chicago scene.  More details at the website, .

Family fun and exercise are your reward for helping at Volunteer Work Day at the Trailside Museum of Natural History, 738 Thatcher in River Forest.  You'll help improve the look of the grounds and have a great time doing it.  Call 708-366-6530 or visit for details of this event taking place on Saturday, August 4.
