You can begin with the "44th Annual No Gloves Nationals" playing in Forest Park's Park at Harrison and DesPlaines from Thursday, July 26 through Sunday, July 29th.  You'll see the best of the region's softball players compete, enjoy food, drinks, music, and more.  For a games and activities schedule, go to www.pdofp.org

An Oak Park and regional favorite, Val's halla records invites you to help celebrate her 40 years of business in our community.  Come to "hallaPalooza" on Saturday, July 28 for an all day event with over one dozen bands, fun actvities for all, and big discounts on your musical purchases.  Get all of the details at www.valshallarecords.com .

Here's another free event on Sunday, July 29.  It's the "Artistic Picnic" hosted by the Oak Park Art League and Dominican University in River Forest.  Bring your picnic, chairs, blankets, enjoy an ice cream social, see all kinds of wonderful art, and, at 6:45, view a free screening of "Hugo"  Visit www.dom.edu for more.
